Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my Menue Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions → Menue Pro → Cancel Subscription. Your Pro features stay active until the end of the current billing period.

I cancelled during my free trial — was I charged?

No. As long as you cancelled before the trial ended, you weren’t charged. If you see an unexpected charge, request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I purchased Pro but the AI features are still locked

Try these in order:

  1. Pull down to refresh on the AI screen
  2. Open the app’s Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases
  3. Force-quit and reopen the app
  4. If still stuck, email us your Apple ID email and we’ll fix it manually

How does household sharing work?

A household is a shared account. Everyone in your household uses the same sign-in but has their own profile inside the app. Recipes, shopping lists, and meal plans are shared so everyone sees the same data. Add household members from Settings → Manage Household.

One subscription per household — is that right?

Yes. When one person in your household subscribes to Pro, AI features unlock for everyone in the household. You don’t need to buy multiple subscriptions.

Can AI recipes contain mistakes?

Yes. AI-generated recipes and ingredient suggestions are produced by a third-party language model and may contain errors, missing steps, or ingredients you’re allergic to. Always read AI output carefully before cooking.

How do I delete my account?

From inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your data and cancels your Pro subscription on next renewal. You can also email us if you prefer.

Is my data secure?

Your data is stored in EU-based data centers, encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell your data. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

Do you have an Android app?

Not yet. We’re focused on iOS for now. If you’d like to be notified when Android launches, drop us an email.

Reporting bugs

When emailing about a bug, please include:

  • Your iPhone model and iOS version
  • The Menue app version (Settings → About)
  • Steps to reproduce the issue
  • A screenshot or screen recording if you can capture one
