Help test Menue on Android
Menue has been on iPhone for a while. The Android version is finished and we need a handful of people to use it for a couple of weeks before Google will let us publish it properly.
How to join
- Join the testers group with the Google account on your Android phone. This is what puts you on the list — Google won’t let you in at step 2 without it.
- Open the opt-in link on your phone and tap Become a tester.
- Tap Download it on Google Play. Menue installs like any other app and updates automatically.
Both steps need the same Google account. If step 2 says you’re not a tester, you’re signed in as someone else, or the group membership hasn’t propagated yet — give it a few minutes.
What we’re asking of you
Open the app now and then over two weeks. That’s genuinely it. Google checks that testers actually used the app, so the one thing that doesn’t help is installing it and forgetting about it.
If you cook, the most useful thing you can do is plan a week of meals and take the shopping list to an actual shop. That’s the path we most want broken before strangers find the cracks.
Worth knowing
- The app is free. Everything except the AI features works without paying, and that’s plenty to test with.
- Menue Pro is a real subscription. The 7-day trial turns into a normal paid one when it ends, at the price shown. Cancel anytime in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
- Sign-in is a code by email. No password. You’ll need to open your inbox on the phone.
- Push notifications don’t work yet on Android. Meal and shopping reminders do, because those come from the phone itself.
- You can leave any time from the same link, then uninstall.
